The newest African global fashion magazine to hit newsstands is FAB (Fabulous, African & Black) which launched fashionably last Sunday at De Marquee, Lagos. The first issue features over 150 pages of Fashion and lifestyle and retails for ₦500.

Abiola Aso-Oke Home Accessories @ LPM February Market

Abiola Aso-Oke is famous for the design and production of exclusive traditional hand woven textiles known as Aso-Oke. The company has experience spanning over 20 years in the Nigerian market but they are still as relentless as new brands when it comes to marketing and reaching hitherto oblivious market segment. These cool home furnishings the brand showed at LPM last month are all made from Aso-oke fabric.

Asos Africa Collection

British online mega retailer Asos recently launched a collection titled “The African Collection” featuring beautiful pieces made in lace and eccentric batik African print fabrics.


To be successful in the fashion industry we all know you got to mirror your consumers psyche and produce what they want.
