Nigerian and Ghanaian Models Bring on Their Shoe Game at The Arise Fashion Week Casting in Lagos

 

Whenever you hear the words ‘Model Casting’ certain things are expected; tights, heels and skinny long legs. This past Saturday was the casting day for models who hope to be part of the Arise Fashion week in March. Models from neighboring Ghana also trooped in and the scenario was a mixture of the good, bad and fucking ugly.

But hey, it’s a free world and people are allowed to dream dreams without being judged. My roaming eyes got in a bit of the shoes on display and I thought to treat my readers to some visual delight.

All the Fashions and People at the Luxé Store Launch and Valentine Sales Event

 

The newest store to launch on fashion high street Adeniran Ogunsanya is none other than Luxé run by Eve and Liyah is a modern women and menswear boutique stocking leather goods and shirts for men from some of the most luxurious brands which include Gucci, Prada, Giorgio Armani, D&G , Valentino, Dior…and more.

The event was fun filled with loads of designer label loving whores gents and ladies trooping in and out to take advantage of the 10% mark down on all merchandise. 

Honestly I was impressed with the selection of items in store, the store design and the sick sick dance playlist that was on rotation almost turning the store into a mini discotheque after a few drinks and delicious cupcakes.

 The difference is obviously clear when it comes to details on high end shirts

Nigerian Luxury Brand Jewel By Lisa Debuts it's Scented Candles

 

Nigerian luxury label Jewel by Lisa has released its scented candles which retail at ₦7,500. The scents were inspired by the SS11 collection, a strong color & fruit palette that represent a wave of spring flowers & spices. 

As I made my way into the JBL studio during my in studio drop some time ago I could not help but notice the nicely arranged cupboard holding the candles. Being one that’s into olfactory stimulation not talking bouts food here, not a gluton :p I could not wait to get my hands on the beautifully packages things and sniff away. 

The chance did present itself and I was sent into some sort of nirvana state for a bit, and the best part…₦7,500 price tag. Now for those of us who are not able to afford JBL pieces right now, due to circumstances brokenness or tastes at least there’s another medium to buy into the Jewel by Lisa brand.
