Lagos Fashionisto's and Fashionista's @ House of Nwocha Fashion Show

Lagos certainly stood still for a bit not exactly the whole Lagos but at least Fourpoints hotel did and further confirmed the fact that it stands as Nigeria’s fashion and style capital as loads of stylish people turned up for one of the most anticipated shows, to see the clothes, see other people and be seen. The men brought their ‘A’ game out and without a doubt it’s obvious that the women got served. Stylist Dimeji Alara (pictured above) gets the nod for my best dressed male with his futuristic jacket. Obinna Omeruo, brother of the designer (pictured below) was also quite preppy.

  2. @ anonymous kilode?me thinks people are just becoming more fashionforward and open to trends. The Dimeji guy, looks strange in the Rihannesque blazer but then it is fashion and anything goes as long as the wearer has d confidence to pull it off.

  6. I think it's a great thing when genders can draw inspiration from each other and create androgyny e.g. Adebayo Oke-Lawal's nicely done blazer and gladiators (the irony is that those pieces are originally menswear, lol. Anyhoo!) and the guy in the white skinny pants and blazer...

But when you look frighteningly like your inspiration then I think the essence and the swag are lost. A few men may not have received this memo though.

Constructive criticism is welcome as well as words of inspiration. Structure your point, no random bitching...
