Nigerian award winning designer Adebayo Jones closed the international style week in grand style with a stunning collection made with sequins and other kinds of glittery fabric inspired by 90’s glamour and leading ladies of those times like Whitney Houston and the soundtrack for the catwalk was her Million dollar bill song. The final day saw the runway move from inside the venue to the streets and I loved the outdoor feel the final day had. Adebayo Jones is one of Africa’s and Nigeria’s best talent and I had the chance to see the clothes up-close backstage which reminded me why he’s considered one of the best. Excellent craftsmanship perfect finishing with a great eye for detail. Word also has it that he would be launching a menswear line soon, can’t wait to see it.
