Isoken Ogiemwonyi’s new CONTROL collection for her label Obsidian references the film noir genre, particularly Rita Hayworth in ‘ The Lady From Shanghai’. Her character embodied the traditional ‘femme fatale’ of the time. The cocktail inspired dresses are intricately designed with a few interesting hand detailing. The use of fabrication and color and excellent and once again budding fashion photographer Lakin Ogunbanwo renders the collection beautifully.
